Facilities
Construction is underway on 91制片厂Pro University鈥檚 75,000-square-foot expansion of the Recreation Center at the East Gym. The new addition will include:
- A 40% increase in fitness space, featuring a turfed functional training area
- An elevated indoor running track
- Additional hardwood courts
- New multipurpose rooms for group fitness classes, club practices and more
The expansion will have its own entrance, while still connecting to the current main entrance for easy access. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2026.

FitSpace fitness center
Located inside the Recreation Center at the East Gym, FitSpace offers a wide range of fitness equipment and strength training options.
- Cardio area: Treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, stair climbers and more
- Weights area: Free weights, selectorized machines and plate-loaded equipment
- Functional training area: Turf, sleds, kettlebells, tires, battle ropes, TRX suspension trainers, heavy bag and more
- Stretching and warm up area: Stretching cage, mats and recovery tools
A fitness membership or day pass is required for FitSpace access.
Group fitness studios
Our studios (EG-22 and EG-24) host a wide variety of group fitness classes led by certified instructors. Classes include yoga, cycling, strength training, HIIT and more.

Courts and sports
- Hardwood courts: Our indoor courts offer rotating open recreation times for a variety of sports, including basketball, badminton, volleyball, pickleball
- Racquetball/squash court: Available at the West Gym. Racquets, balls and court keys are available for checkout at the front desk of the East Gym.
Access
Students with a valid University ID card can use the hardwood courts during scheduled recreation times, no fitness membership required.
Faculty and staff with valid University ID cards can use the hardwood courts during scheduled recreation times weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 5:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. only. Afternoon, evening and weekend access requires membership.
Aquatics
Our five-lane, 25-yard long lap pool is ideal for swim workouts, training or open swim times.
Access
Students with a valid University ID card can use the pool during scheduled recreation times, no fitness membership required.

Wellness Services Suite
The Wellness Services Suite has dedicated treatment rooms for massage therapy, nutritional advising and fitness evaluations. Appointments are available with licensed massage therapists, registered dietitians and certified personal trainers.
Outdoor facilities
Get outside and take advantage of Campus Recreation's outdoor spaces designed for fitness, fun and fresh air.
- Outdoor fitness court: A bodyweight circuit-style training area open to all skill levels
- Challenge Course: A high and low ropes course for teambuilding and personal growth (group reservations required)
- Disc golf course: A scenic, on-campus course with 18 holes. Bring your own discs or borrow from the East Gym with your valid BingU ID card
- Recreational turf field: Open for drop-in play, intramurals and club sport practices
- Tennis courts: Located behind the East Gym. Courts are lined for tennis (white) and pickleball (yellow). Check out racquets and balls from the East Gym with your valid BingU ID card
Reservations and rentals
The facilities at the East Gym are available for reservations (on-campus groups) and rentals (off-campus groups).
