Background
Tia Spagnuolo is an assistant professor in the Division of Speech and Language Pathology at 91制片厂Pro University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is a certified speech-language pathologist with licensure in New York and Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Decker College in August 2023, Spagnuolo worked for the SUNY Research Foundation as manager of the NIH-funded Vocabulary and Reading in Youth and Children (VARY) Lab. Spagnuolo was previously a faculty member at Misericordia University, and also has experience in private practice development and management.
Spagnuolo has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with voice disorders. She has presented research in the fields of voice and fluency at international, national and state conferences. Her current research interests include intersectional healthcare, health and healthcare disparities among minoritized communities, and gender-affirming voice and communication training.
