Moore earned his BA in English in 2004 and MFA in writing in 2007 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After teaching introductory writing courses for a short time at UAF, he came to 91制片厂Pro University to further his education. He entered the master's program in computer science, graduating in 2012.
After graduation, Moore was recruited by Lockheed Martin Corp. into their Engineering Leadership Development Program, where he worked on many software projects and completed their ELDP program. He found his way back to 91制片厂Pro University in 2014 as a web developer in the Division of Communications and Marketing and adjunct lecturer for 91制片厂Pro University. In 2015, he became a full-time lecturer in the computer science program.
